Why ImpManagers

Spreadsheets don't scale. Your operations should.

Structured, not scattered

A real relational database replaces fragile spreadsheets — suppliers, shipments, invoices and entries all linked, searchable and consistent.

Offline-first by design

Your data lives locally in SQLite on your own machine. No mandatory cloud, no monthly seat fees, no internet dependency to get work done.

Encrypted backups

Backups are sealed with AES-256-GCM before they ever leave the machine. Keys stay in your OS keyring; you control disaster-recovery exports.

Compliant documents

Generate print-ready invoices, BOE summaries and reports as PDF and Excel — formatted for Indian trade compliance out of the box.

Role-based control

Admin, operator and viewer roles with backend-enforced permissions and a hash-chained audit log keep every change accountable.

Your cloud, your choice

Optionally sync encrypted backups to your own Google Drive using the narrow drive.file scope — the app only ever touches files it created.

Security & privacy

Your trade data stays yours

ImpManagers apps are single-company, single-machine tools. There's no central server collecting your business — data lives with you, and anything that syncs is encrypted first.

  • Local-first storage

All records are stored in a local SQLite database under your Windows app data — never uploaded in plaintext.

  • AES-256-GCM backups

Backup artifacts use a per-file salt, PBKDF2 key derivation and a 12-byte nonce. Keys live in the OS keyring with an offline recovery export.

  • Narrow Google scopes

Drive sync requests only drive.file and your email — it cannot read or touch any other file in your Drive.

How Import Manager uses Google data

Full transparency on the Google account access Import Manager requests — and exactly what it does with it.

Optional Google Drive backup

Import Manager offers an optional feature to upload your encrypted database backups to your own Google Drive. This is never required — the app is fully functional offline. When you choose to connect, here's the complete access it requests:

drive.file — create & manage only the backup files this app creates userinfo.email — show which Google account is connected

Import Manager's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The app cannot see, read, or modify any other files in your Drive, does not transfer your Google data to third parties, and uses it solely to provide the backup-sync feature you enabled. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
