Import Manager treats your data like it matters, because it does. Administration tools are surfaced right in the app.
The Google Drive backup feature is optional. When you connect it, this is the full extent of the access requested.
When you choose Connect Google Drive, Import Manager uses OAuth 2.0 to request a minimal set of permissions, and uploads only your already-encrypted backup files:
The app cannot read, list, or modify any other file in your Google Drive. Backups are encrypted with AES-256-GCM on your machine before upload, so Google stores ciphertext only. Import Manager's use of Google data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy (including Limited Use), and Google data is never sold or shared with third parties. See the Privacy Policy for the complete disclosure.
